KILGORE, TX (KLTV) - Authorities are trying to track down the ex-husband of an East Texas woman who has been missing for nearly a week.

Christina Rea Davison of Kilgore disappeared sometime last Friday night. Davison's purse was found Wednesday on the side of a road in Marshall.

Davison lives in Kilgore off of Elder Street, just a few blocks away from her job at Whataburger. Whataburger employees called 911 when Davison did not show up for work last Saturday morning.

Friends and family say they just want to know if Davison is okay.

"Why would her purse be on the side of the road? That's just not right. Somebody knows something, somebody's got to say something," says Patrick Sheffield, one of Davison's friends.

Loved ones are putting up fliers asking people to call officials with any information about Davison. They say Davison was last seen driving a 1990's model black four-door Toyota Camry with a Texas license plate #CL6D629. The two back doors of the vehicle are missing door handles.

Davison has also gone by the names Christina Taylor and Christina Wheeler. She is 5'7" and weighs around 180 pounds.

Anyone who has seen or head from Davison is asked to call Detective Trae Portwood at 903-218-6905.
