If you were to search Youtube you can find a number of videos of people lip-dubbing, in which people create lip-sync videos to popular music. If you dig a little deeper you may even recognize some of the faces in one particular video.
Prattville High School's lip-dubbing video has gone VIRAL, posted only 16 hours ago with almost 5200 views. The student body along with members of the faculty came together to produce an almost nine minute video highlighting the student body and the halls of the school.
Principal Richard Dennis says the video was the initial idea of one of the assistant principals, "They saw some similar videos online and thought it might be something to pursue. A couple of teachers joined in, and after some planning it started to come together."
It seems nearly every student activity group was featured during the video and just about every part of the school as well.
The video was shot almost two weeks ago during the school's activity period, so the students wouldn't miss class. It was then edited by one of the students who specializes in creating videos for the football team.
"We would have liked to see the video published a little sooner, but the student had to make sure the video matched up with the music."
Principal Dennis congratulated those who worked on the video and for the success it's achieved.
