KILGORE, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas mother is missing and her family is asking for your help to find her.

43-year-old Christina Rea Davison was last seen on Friday night in Kilgore. Seeing Davison's picture on a missing person flyer is bringing back terrifying memories for her family.

"My family has gone through this once before with a cousin of ours that we found murdered, and so we're just reliving this all over again," says Larry Wheeler, one of Christina Davison's brothers.

Davison's family members are praying her story will be different, but they say the circumstances of her disappearance are not comforting.

"Her family is taking it really hard because this is not like Christina to just take off and nobody knows where she's at," says Patrick Sheffield, one of Davison's friends.

"She's really good about contacting or calling somebody. Today's world is social, and if you don't hear from somebody in a couple of hours you start to wonder," says Joshua Wheeler, Davison's youngest brother.

Joshua Wheeler says he knew something was wrong when Davison did not show up for work Saturday at the Whataburger in Kilgore. Sheffield says he was concerned when officials told him they believe a struggle took place in Davison's apartment.

"She was recently divorced and she was just starting over, just getting her life together," says Sheffield.

Davison's neighbor did not want to be interviewed but says she was not home Friday night when officials believe Davison disappeared.

Sheffield says someone knows what happened and Davison's loved ones deserve answers, "Let's get Christina home. If you know something, anything, any small detail that you don't think is important, let the authorities know so we can find Christina and get her home."

Davison is 5'7" and weighs around 180 pounds. She was last seen driving a 1990s model black four-door Toyota Camry with a temporary license plate.
