Decatur suspect arrested after foot chase

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A Decatur man is back in custody after escaping an arrest on domestic violence charges.

Police said Shadeed Abdul Fuqua was caught Thursday after a foot chase. Authorities charged him with third-degree domestic violence and escape.

Fuqua was booked into the Decatur City Jail. His bond for the domestic violence charge was set at $20,000. Bond for the escape charge has not yet been set.
