Fire damages Huntsville home

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire Tuesday morning in Huntsville.

The fire started just before 6 a.m. at a home on the 2700 block of Holiday Drive off Bob Wallace Avenue. Authorities said three engines and one ladder responded to the fire.

Everyone inside the home reportedly made it out safely. A woman was treated for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters said the house is now unlivable. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
