LSU junior Aaron Nola named SEC Pitcher of the Year

LSU's ace on the mound, junior Aaron Nola, was named SEC Pitcher of the Year by a vote of the league's 14 head baseball coaches.

Kentucky's A.J. Reed was selected 2014 SEC Baseball Player of the Year and Florida pitcher Logan Shore was named SEC Freshman of the Year by a vote of the league's 14 head baseball coaches. 

Nola finished the season with a 10-1 record, a 1.49 ERA and 127 strikeouts in 109 innings. He was also named to the SEC's first team and all defensive team.

Shortstop Alex Bregman was selected to the second team and outfielder Andrew Stevenson joined Nola on the all defensive team.

Bregman finished the season with a .301 batting average, 14 doubles, six home runs and 44 RBI.
