GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -

Two Gadsden men were arrested and charged Tuesday in connection to a DeKalb County bank robbery.

Ericson Lamar Snow was charged with one count of first-degree robbery.

"The DeKalb County charge stems from his involvement in a bank robbery that occurred in the spring of 2013," said Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

Snow was arrested at a home in north Gadsden. Officers said he had a "significant amount" of crack cocaine in his possession. Additional charges are pending.

Also charged in the robbery was Jamichael Keyaman Hawkins, who is currently in the Etowah County Jail for robbery. A hold for DeKalb County has been placed on Hawkins for the bank robbery.

Agencies involved in Tuesday's arrest include the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit, sheriff's deputies assigned to the U.S. Marshals' Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Gadsden Police Department and the FBI's Safe Street Task Force.

"I am glad to have these individuals in jail for the robbery in our county," said DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris. "These men went in and terrified those women with guns and pushing them around. Both suspects have a history of violent crimes and we were glad to get the warrants for them."

Snow will be held in the DeKalb County Detention Center.
