DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

The Dothan Police Department arrested a man on Friday and charged him with four counts of chemical endangerment of a child.

Dothan Police responded to an apartment complex on a trespassing complaint in the 200 block of Mona Drive after receiving information that an individual was illegally at that location.

As officers were trying to make contact with the individuals inside the apartment, they detected an odor of burnt marijuana. Once the door was opened, officers confirmed the odor was coming from the apartment in question.

Officers encountered 24-year-old Corry Hunter, who admitted to smoking marijuana inside the apartment where four juveniles, ranging from the age of one to five-years-old, were present.

Hunter's bond was set at $16,000.
