Brundidge man, 87, killed in 2-vehicle crash

BRUNDIDGE, AL (WSFA) -

The Alabama Department of Public Safety says a Brundidge man has died from injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash Thursday.

James Mulkey, 87, was killed when the 2000 Nissan he was driving collided with a 2002 Chevrolet. The crash happened around 3:50 p.m. on U.S. 231 in the Hamilton Crossroads community.

Mulkey, who was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was transported to Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. Investigators say Mulkey died Friday.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
