HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police arrested three teenage girls following a burglary early Sunday morning.

Officers said they were called to the Cell Tech store on University Drive around 1:40 a.m. when an employee at the La Quinta Inn across the street called police. The employee reported three people with towels on their heads were seen kicking in the front glass door.

Police said officers in the area arrived quickly and saw the three people run from the front of the store. Officers said all three people were apprehended in the parking lot, and one was treated at the scene for a cut on her foot from kicking the glass door.

The three teenagers arrested were the ages of 14, 15 and 16. This investigation is ongoing.
