MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

CrimeStoppers is trying to identify two men who broke into a Hope Hull gas station and tried to steal an ATM.

The men arrived at the Stuckey's on the 1100 block of Tyson St., shortly before 2 a.m. on May 21. They used a Ford Econoline van that was reported stolen from Valley Services in Montgomery the same day to push the store's ice machine away from a window.

They then smashed out the window to get into the store. They immediately ran to the back of the store and attempted to take the ATM, but it was bolted to the floor.

At one point one of the men went to the register apparently looking for the store safe.

The men were last seen getting on Interstate 65 around 2 a.m.

One of the suspects has several tattoos on his arms and neck. He was seen wearing a red hat, a red tank top and jeans.

The other man was wearing a white or light colored baggy t-shirt and jeans. Both suspects wore gloves.

The van used will have damage to the front bumper and front driver's side. It has "Valley" written on the back.

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office is looking for these suspects. If you recognize them, call  CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
