TRUSSVILLE, AL (WBRC) -

Trussville police have charged a man with reckless driving after injuring multiple people in a June 4 car wreck.

Luke Bigham, 20, turned himself in on the charges late Thursday and was booked into the Trussville Jail on a $1,000 bond. Police chief Don Sivley told the Associated Press that Bigham has been released onbond.

Police say Bigham was driving 80 mph in a 35 mph zone on Highway 11 when he struck another vehicle, causing a five-car pile up.

Three people were injured including Bigham. Police say he was the only person transported for medical attention.

As a child, Bigham appeared in the movie "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Rickey Bobby."
