TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A family from east Toledo is the latest to have their dog taken from their home. They say someone broke into their house and took their two dogs.

One was been found by police Friday but the other is still missing.

Donald Ulch says he gave his 19-month-old dog to his son's girlfriend to watch over him. But now Kelo is gone after someone broke into the house where the dog was staying.

"I feel like they took one of my kids. I mean they was inseparable," said Ulch.

"It is very upsetting for my children because they don't understand and they are not sure that they feel safe in their home now knowing that someone has come in there," said Janet Pierce.

Pierce says a week ago her female dog was stolen off of her porch and was returned two days later. She paid the teen $75 for the safe return.

Thursday she came home to find that it was broken into and her two other dogs, a puppy and a 19-month-old dog, were stolen. The puppy was found in a house on Federal. According to a police report, the dog was found with a 17-year-old boy.

Pierce says she recognized the boy police say found the dog.

"I feel that the same people who stole my female dog last week maybe the same people who stole our two males this week," said Pierce.

The family is offering a $100 reward for any information.

Police say the incident is under investigation. If you have any information call Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.
