OTTAWA COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

One person was killed, five others injured, in a crash Saturday night in Ottawa County.

It happened on State Route 53, north of State Route 2, in Portage Township.

Troopers say around 10:45 p.m., Susie Gonzalez, 35, of Port Clinton, turned left in front of two motorcycles.

A Harley Davidson struck the side of Gonzalez's pickup truck. Thomas Lamb, 53, and his passenger, Angela Lamb, 49, both of Boardman, Ohio, were ejected from the bike.

A Honda motorcycle, driven by John Rice, 43, with passenger Amy Rice, 42, both of Toronto, Ohio, struck the Harley Davidson. Both occupants were also ejected.

Gonzalez and Angela Lamb were flown to Mercy St Vincent's Hospital in Toledo with serious injuries.

John and Amy Rice, along with a passenger in the pickup, Miguel Popoca, 37, of Port Clinton, were transported to Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton with non-life threatening injuries.

Thomas Lamb was pronounced dead at the scene.

Trooper say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

All of the motorcyclists were wearing helmets, but neither occupant in the pickup truck was wearing a seatbelt.

SR 53 was closed for approximately four hours during the investigation. It has since reopened.

No charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation.
