ABC agents uncover marijuana patch in Bullock Co.

BULLOCK CO., AL (WSFA) -

Agents with the Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board uncovered a marijuana patch in west Bullock County on Monday.

The agents were investigating a tip into a possible moonshine still when they found the plants.

The search took place in a wooded area along Bullock County Road Seven North. That is where agents found the ten plants that were being grown and maintained in large buckets and pots.

According to authorities, a suspect has been identified, but no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is still on-going.
