Dadeville PD conducting investigation after woman found dead

DADEVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

The Dadeville Police Department is currently conducting a death investigation after a woman was found dead.

Police say they received a call of a deceased female on Agricola Road on Thursday at 5 p.m.

As a part of the investigation, the body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences Laboratory at AUM for autopsy.

Dadeville Police received confirmation of the woman's identity on Wednesday. She has been identified as 35-year-old Jamie Renee Gravette of Kellyton.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of death.
