CIBECUE, AZ (CBS5) -

The Dehose Fire burning in the old Rodeo-Chediski burn area is devouring 40 acres and threatening a radio tower.

The fire, which was detected Monday evening, is located east of Cibecue along the Cibecue Ridge, according to Bureau of Indian Affairs Wildland Fire Management officials.

The fire is zero percent contained and the cause is not known.

Crews are securing the flanks of the fire as red flag conditions continue for the Fort Apache Indian Reservation.

The Rodeo-Chediski fire started in June 18, 2002 and was not controlled until early July. It held the title as Arizona's worst forest fire until June 2011, when the Wallow Fire surpassed it.
