LOWER PRICE HILL (FOX19) -

Cincinnati police said a 23-year-old man died at the hospital from injuries in a shooting Wednesday night in Lower Price Hill.

Officers were dispatched at about 7:15 p.m. to the 700 block of Neave Street for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, Cincinnati Police District Three officers found Markeith Peek with multiple gunshot wounds.

Peek was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he later died, police said.

The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the shooting. Suspect information was not immediately released.
