SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

The suspect wanted in connection to the armed robbery of the Flowers Bakery in Selma nearly a decade ago is in custody.

Selma law enforcement took custody of 29-year-old Atlanta resident Patrick Bernard Reese Wednesday night from the Fulton County, Georgia Jail.

Reese is being charged with felony robbery in the first degree in connection to the September 22, 2004 armed robbery of the bakery on Citizens Parkway.

Reese, along with Bryant Latimore and Quante Rice, robbed the business by gun point and forced the cashier into the rear of the business, according to police.

Rice was charged with Capital Murder of a Selma man at a local carwash in October 2004 for robbing the victim of his vehicle and then killing him and fleeing to Georgia with Reese & Latimore.

Rice was ultimately convicted after an appeal to the Alabama Supreme Court to Life without parole in September 2013.

Latimore was arrested in October of 2004; his case was "No Bill" by a Grand Jury.

Reese is currently being held at the Dallas County Jail without bond.
