Dothan Police make meth lab bust

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

Police in Dothan say three people are under arrest after officials found an active meth lab.

37-year-old Kenneth Wayne Jernigan, 27-year-old Kevin Royce Sellers and 21-year-old Dia Elizabeth Mongoven all of Slocumb are under arrest and charged with unlawful manufacturing or a controlled substance.

Officers responded to the 600 block of Westmead street after receiving a call about a meth lab in the area. After smelling a strong odor coming from the building they made contact with three individuals.

Officers then entered the building and located items used in the manufacturing process of methamphetamine. They removed approximately 40 grams of suspected meth oil from the property.

The bond has been set at $60,000 each. No other details are being released at this time as the investigation continues.
