On Wednesday, around 4:30 a.m. Gulf Shores Police Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Gulf Shores Parkway in response to a call of a possible sexual assault.

The victim, a 14-year-old girl, was unconscious when the officers arrived.

Shortly thereafter the victim was transported for medical treatment and Gulf Shores Police detectives began investigating.

Upon regaining consciousness the victim said that she was in a vehicle with two adult men she had just met that night.

While riding around south Baldwin County, which included the cities of Orange Beach, Foley, and Gulf Shores, the male subjects allegedly provided the 14 year old alcohol, got her drunk, and raped her

Later on Wednesday A Gulf Shores Patrol Officer stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle.

Information provided by the occupants of the vehicle led to the capture of one suspect in Orange Beach by GSPD and OBPD officers.

The second suspect was located and arrested a few minutes later in Gulf Shores.

20-year-old Alvion Terrill Sampson and 21-year-old John Brandon Sanders were both booked into the Gulf Shores Police Detention Center for Rape in the first degree, a Class A felony.

At this time both Sampson and Sanders are awaiting transfer to the Baldwin County Detention Center.
Although both suspects have been arrested and charged the investigation continues.
