Guns stolen from Academy Sports and Outdoors in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Police Department is confirming an investigation into the theft of at least two guns at a store.

Officers responded to 8610 Eastchase Parkway, which is the  Academy Sports and Outdoors store, after receiving reports of a theft.

When officers arrived they found that property had been taken from the store.

The person or persons who stole the guns have not been identified and are not in custody.

There are no additional details at this time as an investigation is ongoing.
