CLANTON, AL (WSFA) -

The Clanton Lions Club is reporting that $16,000 was raised at the annual Peach Auction, which ended on Saturday.

The top five baskets of peaches were grown by:

First place was awarded to Mark and Melissa Knight of M&M Farms.

Second place went to Hal and Dordie Hayes of Todd's Produce.

Third place was awarded to Patterson Farms.

Fourth place went to Jimmie and Alice Harrison of Harrison Fruit Farm.

Fifth place went to Keith Wise Farms.

This was the seventh consecutive blue ribbon for the Knight family.

M&M Farms was the sponsor of the Miss Peach Pageant this year. For the first time in the pageant's history, the sponsor grew the number one basket of peaches.
