MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying three individuals who broke into a Montgomery business in May.

Investigators say that three unknown individuals broke in and burglarized the Montgomery Indoor Shooting Complex located at 5765 Carmichael Rd on May 24.

Video surveillance shows that at 5:30 a.m., the three individuals used a sledgehammer to break the glass front door to gain entry.

Investigators believe the individuals range between the ages of 18 to 25-years-old.

According to Crime Stoppers Community Development Director Tony Garrett, no firearms were taken during the burglary, but feels that was the intentions of the individuals.

"Once inside, these subjects were undoubtedly looking to steal firearms to sale to other criminals or use them in other criminal acts," Garrett said. "I believe these individuals were testing the facility to see what they could find. They were only able to steal electronic items, knives, and a plastic airsoft rifle."

If you can identify or know the whereabouts of these individuals, please call police or Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP. Your tip could lead to a cash reward.
