Auburn PD charge man with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn Police Department have arrested Kendrick O. Hill on a felony warrant charging him with Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Dwelling and Probation Violation on Saturday.

Police responded to a shots fired call at the 700 block of Lee Road 872. On arrival to the residence, officers were informed that Hill had been involved in an altercation with the resident and fired shots, striking his residence.

Minor damage was sustained by the residence, but no one was hurt.

A police investigation led to a warrant for Hill's arrest, and he later turned himself in to detectives at the Auburn PD where he was taken into custody.

Hill was transported to Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $50,000 bond.
