Just in time for Independence Day, Cincinnati was named one of the best cities to visit for the 4th of July.
The study, created by WalletHub, looked at the country's 100 largest cities and graded them on areas including weather, food accommodations, hotels, average drink price, swimming pools and arts and recreation establishments.
According to the study, Cincinnati ranks No. 2 in the nation for most swimming pools per capita after Cleveland.
Cincinnati ranked No. 3 on the list behind Richmond, Virginia and Irvine, California. It was the only Midwest city that ranked in the top 10. Most of the top 10 cities listed are in California.
According to WalletHub, the worst cities for celebrating the holiday are Durham, North Carolina, Anchorage, Alaska, and Greensboro, North Carolina.
