Authorities apprehend man accused of killing pregnant wife in Hoover

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

Hoover Police Captain James Coker says that U.S. Marshals have apprehended Brian Epps, the man accused of killing his pregnant wife.

Officers located Epps at a home near 8th Street North and Alabama Avenue in Bessemer.

Authorities are still on the scene.

Officers responded to a domestic violence call from a home on Warringwood Drive around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28.

When they arrived, 29-year-old Rashon Deidrenette Bester Epps was found unresponsive in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

She was later pronounced dead at UAB Hospital.
