DALEVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

The Daleville Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating a man suspected of hitting a pedestrian.

John Stivers, 50, was last seen driving a four-door burnt orange Ford Escape with Alabama license plate "19C00B3," according to the Daleville Police Department.

Police believe Stivers was involved in running over a pedestrian's leg with a vehicle around 3:20 p.m. at the Inland gas station in Daleville. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated. Police described the pedestrian's injuries as "not serious."

Stivers doesn't have an Alabama driver's license and no picture is available. He is known to frequent Enterprise, Mobile and Florida, according to police.

Anyone with information on Stiver's location is asked to call the Daleville Department of Public Safety at 334-598-4442.
