MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Officials say the body of missing Montgomery man, Ezekiel Gamble, 66, has been found off Old Hayneville Road.

Montgomery Police responded to a wooded area in the 500 block of Old Hayneville Road around 5 p.m. Tuesday, after receiving a report of a person being deceased. The body was later identified as Gamble.

Gamble's family filed a missing person report with police after he went missing Saturday July 5 around 6 a.m. It was reported that he was last seen at his house on Lonesome Pine Drive near Highway 80 in Montgomery County.

The family believed that Gamble wandered out of his house, got into his 2004 gray Ford F-150 and drove off. They say he may have taken a right turn out of his driveway and ended up at Old Hayneville Road.

Gamble suffered from Alzheimer's and was taking medication for high blood pressure and diabetes. He was a retired long distance truck driver, according to his grandson.

An autopsy will be conducted to follow with the investigation but no foul play is suspected at this time.
