Dothan's Landmark Park presents 'Animal Adventures'

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) -

Landmark Park will continue its annual 'Animal Adventures' events on the Fridays of July 11, 18 and 25.

Children 5 and older are encouraged to come with their families and youth groups to the one hour educational programs. Organizers say the events will provide unique opportunities to learn about the natural world.

Jimmy Stiles will talk about various amphibian species including frogs, salamanders and one big amphiuma. Stiles works with the Alabama Natural Heritage Program through Auburn University and has been involved in herpetology for 25 years.

The events begins at 10 a.m. in the Interpretive Center at Landmark Park in Dothan.

Admission the event is free with paid admission to the park.

Park prices are $4 for adults, $3 for kids and free for members and children 2 and under.

Reservations to the event are required.
