MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Montgomery Elks Lodge on Rosa Parks Avenue has been hit three times in one week. Lodge leaders and the police need your help catching the criminals.

George Williams says thieves have been on a liquor and beer excursion at the Southern Pride Elks Lodge in Montgomery.

"They came in through the front door. They were kind of select in it. They only took the high end beer that we had in here. And they broke in the cabinet and got all the whiskey," Williams said.

Williams has the title Exalted Ruler for the lodge. He says last Tuesday, Thursday and Friday someone stole nearly $12,000 worth of alcoholic beverages and left thousands of dollars worth of damage behind.

"They broke the window out. They came in and got the garbage can, emptied it and cleared out all the beer they didn't get before. They ripped the cabinets out; ripped the tops off of the boxes; vandalized that machine over there," Williams said.

Leaders say they're not sure why they're being targeted but they did admit they did not have any security measures in place. Now they're making every effort to install surveillance video.

"They kicked the door in and rammed the other door. We are not about to let anything like this stop us. It might slow us down just a little bit, but we're going to continue to do what we do and try to provide a service to the community," Williams said.

If you can help find the a suspect.. You're asked to call Crimestoppers at 215-STOP.
