SHELBY COUNTY, AL (WBRC) -

A 5-year-old from Shelby County has died after falling into a pool at a state park in Bibb County.

Bibb County Coroner Downey McGee confirms Brayden Hudson fell in the pool during a party Friday evening.

The coroner says Hudson was removed from life support on Sunday night. His death was ruled a drowning.

A vigil is planned for Brayden Friday at 7 p.m. at Stephens Baseball Park in Montevallo.
