MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Part of the Goode Building on the campus of Jackson Hospital will be closed until Monday according to Jackson officials.

Offices on the sixth through eleventh floor in the Goode Building will be closed due to a temporary power outage.

The reason for the closure is due to a broken water line which flooded into the main electrical duct that powers those floors.

The duct has to be rebuilt from the basement up, and the process is expected to last through the weekend.

Patients who have appointments scheduled with physicians on those floors should expect a call regarding cancellations and/or relocations.

The main hospital and other surrounding buildings will not be impacted by the outage.
