La Canada open after NW carjacking and shooting

Tucson Police are on the scene of an overnight carjacking and shooting that ended on the Northwest side.  

According to TPD two men carjacked a woman in the 3300 block of north Country Club, a shot was fired during the but no one was injured.  Police located the vehicle and followed it, this led to the vehicle crashing along La Canada.  Both men are currently in custody. 

Police have yet to release the names of the suspects or the charges they face. 

La Canada is now open from Orange Grove to River after being closed for several hours.
