Mother, son arrested in East Feliciana Parish SWAT drug bust

CLINTON, LA (WAFB) -

A mother and her son were arrested Tuesday morning after the Delta Narcotics Task Force found drugs, drug paraphernalia and a semi automatic handgun in an East Feliciana Parish home.

Reports say the SWAT team went into the home to secure 32-year-old Dusty Hernandez and 60-year-old Gwendolyn Hernandez, both of Clinton. During the search, deputies found approximately 32 grams of marijuana and 34 ecstasy pills, the handgun, a digital scale, and various other forms of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say Dusty Hernandez was the subject of a month-long narcotics investigation and was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Gwendolyn Hernandez was booked for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Darold Williams, 58, was at the home during the search. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
