ENTERPRISE, AL (WSFA) -

The Enterprise Police Department is investigating another burglary connected to the series of recent burglaries that have occurred in the past week.

In just one week nearly a half dozen homes have been burglarized in a 10-block radius in Enterprise. In the most recent burglary it's believed that the suspects pulled a vehicle with a trailer to the front door of the residence to load the stolen property.

The burglaries have taken place in the area of Pinehurst Drive, Dauphin Street, Harwood Place, Kinnon Drive and now Boxwood Drive.

It appears none of the homeowners were home when the burglaries happened and police believe that's why their homes were targeted. And while police don't know if they are connected they see a common theme in what's being stolen.

"Mainly it's electronics and anything they can get their hands on maybe like change or money laying around. They're taking the TV's and any type of electronics they can get their hands on," Sgt. Billy Haglund said.

Enterprise Police say information from the public is vital in solving these crimes.

Police suggest that if you're going out of town for a long period of time to make sure all ways of entry into your home are secure and have someone pick up your mail or news papers so they don't pile up. Also, don't post your vacation on social media until after you return.

The Enterprise Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division is currently investigating these burglaries and asks that residents report any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.

If anyone has any information regarding these crimes, please contact the Enterprise Police Department at 334-347-2222 or leave a tip at the Enterprise PD website.
