SELMA, AL (WSFA) -

The Selma Police Department has arrested a woman after she allegedly intimidated a witness.

Police arrested Lekeisha Prince, of Selma, on Tuesday on charges of intimidating a witness, first degree attempted assault, and harassment.

The arrest is in reference to an incident that occurred on July 11 in the 1200 block of Tenth Avenue.

Police say that Prince encountered the victim of the 2013 shooting on Hardie Avenue, in which her son was identified as one of the alleged shooters.

Prince spotted the victim driving near the victim's residence and attempted to ram their vehicle with her own vehicle. Once the victim stopped their vehicle to avoid being hit, Prince allegedly threatened to do bodily harm to the victim if they did not drop the charges against her son in the next 45 minutes.

The incident occurred while her son, Lamarious Prince, appeared in the Dallas County Circuit Court for a bond hearing concerning the 2013 shooting. His bond was reduced to $100,000, but he was held because of probation violations.

Lekeisha Prince was out on bail for attempted murder charges, and is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail with a bond set at $206,000.
