MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Our editorial earlier this week focusing on the requests for two ASU board members to resign lead to the following feedback on wsfa.com and our WSFA 12 News station Facebook page…here is just a sampling:
Bernice responded with, "I don't think these two guys care about the greater good. I think the only good is for themselves as evident in the amendment they recently wrote that clearly shows their self interest. Imagine the president of a university having only the power to make decisions allowed her by a board member who probably doesn't even have the qualification to even be a board member of a university. I don't quite understand how any community can stand by and allow this to continue. It's mad."
Rick provided the following, "As a news company maybe you should stay balanced and give the news in a balanced way instead of always voicing your opinion or your company's opinion on subjects that you should be neutral on. I understand that this is an editorial but lately your opinions are not only bias but out of line. This is a problem to be corrected between ASU and the board. We as outsiders do not know all the facts and should let the powers to be make the decisions."
Lastly Larry writes, "This resignation should have come long ago, without it's being demanded. The time for moving forward is long overdue...I only hope that, for the sake of Alabama State, the resignations (if they come) won't be a case of 'too little too late'!"
As always, we encourage and appreciate your feedback.
