Suspect arrested in Atlanta for Montgomery man's homicide

ATLANTA, GA. (WSFA) -

Authorities in Atlanta have confirmed that a person is in custody in connection with the death of a Montgomery man.

Authorities arrested 32-year-old Terry Denham on Monday and charged him with murder. The motive for the shooting was not immediately known.

Claude Dickerson, 29, was pronounced dead on July 26, after being shot in the 600 block of University Avenue. The Atlanta Police Department says the incident happened around 3 p.m.

Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo location or at Davis Funeral Home in Prattville to help the family pay for funeral expenses and burial costs. The funeral is set for August 9th at 2 p.m. at Brewer Heights Missionary Baptist Church 4425 Brewer Rd in Montgomery.
