MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery Police say three have been arrested in connection with business robberies that occurred over the weekend.

According to a news release, 18-year-old Christopher Johnson, 17-year-old Markeiva Johnson, and 20-year-old Charles Sullivan are charged with three counts of first degree robbery. Christopher Johnson is also with one count of first degree rape.

The three robberies and the rape all occurred on Saturday. The first happened around 2 a.m. in the 2000 block of Coliseum Boulevard. The second happened at 4:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of Troy Highway. The third, occurred about 11:30 p.m. also in the 2000 block of Coliseum Boulevard.

Investigators initially believed the robberies were connected and quickly developed information identifying Sullivan as the suspect. Further investigation also linked C. Johnson and M. Johnson to the crimes.

No additional details are available for release at this time as the investigation continues.
