VANCE, AL (WBRC) -

The Mercedes-Benz plant in Vance celebrated a milestone on Tuesday as the 2 millionth vehicle produced at the plant rolled off the line.

The ML350 is heading to Germany - it's destined for an internal customer.

"We have had a challenging, but rewarding year and we have more excitement ahead of us with the launch of a fifth vehicle coming in 2015," said Jason Hoff, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz U.S. International.

The company produced their 1 millionth vehicle back in 2007.
