WOODVILLE, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Charges have been filed against the owner of horses seized in Woodville Township on July 19.

Michelle Proch has been charged with four second-degree misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty and one first-degree misdemeanor count of animal cruelty.

On Saturday, July 19, an anonymous tip led animal cruelty investigators to raid Proch's farm, where they seized four horses. The horses were emaciated, one so severely that it had to be put down. Another horse is at least 200 pounds underweight.

Proch will be arraigned in court on Monday, August 4.
