TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Hancock County plane crash left one Toledo family without a sister and a mother.

The crash happened Sunday night near Findlay. The pilot, Ralf Bronnenmeier, and passenger Tiesha McQuin were both killed when the plane exploded upon impact.

"I can't imagine the pain she felt," said Tiesha's sister Victoria McQuin. "I couldn't imagine what she was trying to hold onto. I couldn't imagine what her thoughts was like, the last words."

Victoria got a knock on her door at 8 a.m. Monday from police. They told her her sister was traveling back from Holland, Michigan when the plane crashed.

Tiesha was a single, stay-at-home mother of a 3-year-old girl. Victoria says she wants her sister to be remembered for all the positive qualities she possessed.

"She had a great sense of humor," Victoria said. "She wanted to be something. She actually wanted to be a lawyer or something like that. She was getting ready to go to school."

Victoria says now all she has are memories of her sister, and the responsibility of caring for her 3-year-old niece.

"I really can't explain the feeling," she said. "I have never felt like this before."

The FAA is still investigating the cause of the crash.
