LOWNDES CO., AL (WSFA) -

The identities of five people involved in a serious crash along Interstate 65 in Lowndes County on July 31 are being released.

Alabama State Troopers identified the victims as Michaela Gipson, Mackenzie Gipson, Madison Gregory, Hannah Gregory and Kristen Davis.

The Alabama Department of Public Safety said 4 of the 5 were ejected from a vehicle about 20 miles south of Montgomery. Three were transported by helicopter to Baptist South Medical Center. Another was taken by ambulance.

When reached for a status update on the victims, Baptist South said Michaela Gipson, Mackenzie Gipson and Madison Gregory have since been treated and released.

The hospital was not able to provide any information on Hannah Gregory or Kristen Davis saying neither was in their system.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
