Parolees to report to Madison Precinct

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Madison Precinct will become the temporary probation office for parolees who were reporting to the Dickerson Pike office.

Damage from a suspicious fire has closed down the Dickerson Pike office for at least the next six months. There was extensive damage inside the office building.

Fire officials said they smelled gasoline when they arrived at the scene on Dickerson Pike around 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The Nashville Fire Department and the State Fire Marshall's Office are still investigating the cause of the blaze.

Probation and parole staff will be available at the precinct at 400 Myatt Drive from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
