TROY, AL (WSFA) -

The Troy Police Department and CrimeStoppers are trying to identify and locate a felony theft suspect.

On July 14 at about 2:30 p.m. a customer's wallet was stolen at Mama's Pizza on Highway 87, according to CrimeStoppers Development Director Tony Garrett.

A man was caught on surveillance video picking up the wallet and leaving the restaurant in a small four-door blue car.

Garrett says this would normally be a misdemeanor crime, but due to the contents of the wallet, the suspect is facing a felony.

If you can identify or know the whereabouts of this subject, please call the Police immediately or Crime Stoppers at 215-STOP. Your tip may lead to a cash reward.
