NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) - Police are looking for the man who robbed a bank at gunpoint Saturday.

The New Albany Police Department said a white male armed with a semi-automatic handgun demanded money from the PNC Bank at 2014 State St. shortly after noon on Aug. 9. No one was injured in the robbery. Police could not say how much money was stolen.

Police and FBI are looking for a medium-build man approximately 5’7” to 5’10”. They say he was wearing thin-rimmed glasses, a black hat with red trim and a possible “Peterbilt” logo, a tan t-shirt with a small graphic on the front and larger writing on the back, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Police believe the man may have left the scene in a silver or gray Isuzu SUV, possibly a Rodeo. Anyone with information is asked to call New Albany police at any of the following numbers:
