GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies responded to a vehicle fire on Saturday afternoon.

It happened on Darnell Road. Deputies say 25-year-old Anthony Stanley was found lying in his driveway, about 100 yards away from his vehicle which was fully engulfed.

Stanley said he had been driving east along Darnell Road when he blacked out.

When Stanley came to, he was lying in the road. He was able to walk back to his home and call 911.

Deputies say Stanley lost control of his vehicle and he went off the road. The vehicle traveled about 30 yards off road, striking small trees, before striking a larger tree and coming to a stop.

The vehicle then caught fire.

The Sedalia Fire Department arrived on scene and put the fire out, before it spread to the woods.

Stanley was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to be treated for a number of injuries.
