Madison man charged with breaking into a vehicle

MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

 Madison Police have arrested an individual and charged him with breaking into a vehicle.

According to police, the break-in occurred on August 6 at the Somerset at Madison apartment complex on County Line road. They said a set of golf clubs were stolen.

Madison Police arrested 19-year-old Dominic Gomez of Madison and charged him with breaking and entering a vehicle, and theft of property of the second degree. The clubs were recovered and returned to the owner.

Gomez was booked into the Madison County Jail on $5,483 bond. He was also charged with theft of property of the third degree in the unrelated theft of two bicycles along with 19-year-old Christian Williams of Madison who has a bond of $483. The bicycles have been returned to the owner.
