MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

High school football is almost here and you can watch live coverage of the three Champions Challenge games on WSFA 12.2, also known as Bounce TV.

Six Alabama high schools will participate in the ninth annual Champions Challenge high school football triple header Friday and Saturday at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.

Two River Region teams -- Carver and Opelika -- make up the first match up on Friday.

On Saturday, Piedmont will take on Dadeville at 5 p.m. Spanish Fort and Stanhope Elmore will follow at 7:30 p.m.

This year schools will have 11 weeks to play 10 games. Schools will have a choice to count any week one game as a regular-season or exhibition game. Carver-Opelika and Piedmont-Dadeville will be exhibition games and won't count on either team's record.

WSFA 12 News' annual Fever Kick-off Blood Drive is also this week.

The American Red Cross will be accepting blood donations Thursday and Friday at Eastdale Mall in Montgomery from 1 to 7 p.m.
